Here is some practical information for course participants and other visitors to Pitch Technologies:

Flying to Linköping:

If you are travelling from Europe, US or Asia (outside of Scandinavia) we suggest that you try to find a plane to Amsterdam where KLM has two daily connections directly to Linkoping (Airport code LPI). This airport is located five minutes by taxi from the city center. The second best connection, especially from many European capitals, is through Ryan Air (budget airline) to Stockholm Skavsta (NYO) where a shuttle bus will take you to Linkoping in one hour.

Other options include 

  • Fly into Norrkoping (NRK) and take a taxi to Linkoping (45 minutes).

  • Fly into Stockholm Arlanda International. From Arlanda there are a few direct trains to Linkoping (total travel time around two and a half hours). Otherwise you will need to take “Arlanda Express” to Stockholm and then connect to the main line trains, preferably the X2000 express.

  • Fly into Copenhagen (CPH) and then connect directly to Linkoping or Norrkoping.

Connecting from the airport

There is usually no shuttle or bus from the airports in Linköping or Norrköping. Book a taxi in advance (+46 13 14 60 00). You don't need a rental car when you are staying in the centre of Linköping and attending our courses, unless you are staying on for some sightseeing.

Taking the train to Linköping

Linköping is located on the main line between Stockholm and Malmö (or Copenhagen). There is a service every hour during peak hours. We suggest using the X2000 express train which provides very good comfort both in first and second class. In-train Internet connection is generally available on X2000. The train ride from Stockholm to Linköping takes approximately 100 minutes.

Driving to Linköping

Linköping is on the main highway “E4” between Stockholm and Copenhagen. Plan two hours from Stockholm to Linköping but add an extra 30-60 minutes for passing through Stockholm during rush hours.
