The advanced course is intended for developers who need deeper insight in architectures for HLA based simulations.

2 days.

Participants

Developers who have attended a basic HLA Hands-On course and (preferably) spent 3-6 months developing HLA federations.

Description

It provides information and exercises on more advanced HLA services. In particular, Time Management, Data Distribution Management and Ownership Management is covered at greater depth. The Management Object Model is also covered.

Infrastructure issues like performance tuning and network optimisations are also described.

In addition to this, issues such as federation scalability, debugging and robustness are covered.
