- Typical update rate: up to 110 000 updates/s on Windows XP 3.6 GHz
- Computers (for 100 byte data).
Fault Tolerance- Fault tolerant of unstable federates. Heart-beat and broken link detection. Automatic resign of crashed federates.
Communication Modes- Reliable: TCP/IP, shared memory
- Best-effort: UDP/IP unicast, UDP/IP multicast, shared memory
- Default configuration: “firewall friendly”. NAT Traversal available. Support for multiple network cards.
- Sender-side filtering of communications for minimized CPU load and network traffic based on DDM and declaration management.
Tuning Algorithms- Bundling, smoothing, best-effort update rate reduction, reliable update rate reduction, ageing of older updates.
Wide Area Network Support- Runs on Pitch Booster™ for transparent WAN Supportacross firewalls and unreliable long distance links.
- Several Pitch pRTIs can co-exist across the same Pitch Booster™ network.
- Discovery of remote federates and RTI Execs using Pitch Booster™.
- See the Pitch Booster™ broshure for details.
