Pitch pRTI™ 4.0 for HLA Evolved - Preview Now Shipping

Pitch is pleased to announce that a preview of Pitch pRTI™ version 4.0 for HLA Evolved is now shipping. This version provides the new C++ and Java APIs for a large number of operating systems together with an implementation of a majority of the new HLA Evolved functionality.

Highlights include

  • Modular FOMs which can now be loaded into the RTI. Inspect currently loaded modules and what federate loaded what FOM module in the updated GUI.

  • Fault Tolerance where crashing federates are automatically resigned and status updates of lost federates are sent to the federation.

  • Evolved Dynamic Link Compatibility (EDLC) APIs.

All users with a valid maintenance contract will be offered this version, called "Beta 1". HLA Evolved is the new version of HLA that is soon to be released by IEEE.
