The HLA-compliant systems that you develop using Pitch Developer Studio™ can be deployed without any royalty costs. They will automatically support various RTIs and HLA standards, such as HLA 1.3, HLA 1516-2000 and HLA Evolved without any need to recompile.

Popular operating systems such as Windows and Linux are supported as well as various Java environments. Should the need arise to extend the simulation at a later stage this is easily done with minimum impact on your existing code base.

A Powerful Development Process

  1. No matter if you need to develop a new HLA federate or adapt an existing simulator to HLA, Pitch Developer Studio™ gets you going in minutes. Start with a standard FOM (information exchange model), an extended standard FOM or even a custom FOM.
  2. Create a new project in Developer Studio. Select and configure objects, interactions and data types that you want to share with other federates.
  3. Press a button and code is generated. This code implements a complete HLA interface module. Extensive documentation is also generated.
  4. Include the generated module into your project. Now your application can simply set and get data on the shared objects. Interactions can be handled as method calls. Connect to any RTI and go!
  5. As your simulation capabilities grow you may need to exchange additional types of data. Simply extend the information exchange model, import it into Pitch Developer Studio and iterate. Perfect for prototyping as well as for full-scale development.

Run with Any RTI and HLA Version

Need to run with Pitch pRTI 1516 one day and the older RTI-NGv6 another day? No problem!  The generated code can run with most leading RTIs and HLA versions, be it HLA 1.3, HLA 1516-2000 or the upcoming HLA Evolved. There is no need to recompile. Simply switch an “RTI Driver” library and start your application!
