Pitch Technologies is proud to announce that Björn Möller, Vice President and Mikael Karlsson, Product Architect at Pitch have received SISO’s Technical Merit Award. The price was presented during the SISO Simulation Interoperability Workshop in Boston, 4-8 April 2011. This price is awarded in recognition of technical excellence in the development of standards and has so far only been awarded to three persons.

The award acknowledges ”substantial contributions to development of the HLA standard, in particular HLA Evolved”, ”new conceptual ideas” and ”extensive engineering support and design”. It also refers to a number of papers that have been awarded SIWzie awards (recommended reading/best paper).
