HLA Evolved Standard Published by IEEE Print

IEEE has officially published the new version of HLA, code name “HLA Evolved”, formally named IEEE1516-2010 on 18 August. The new version contains a large number of new features and improvements.

Pitch Technologies is dedicated to support this new standard and has already released a full set of products that supports this standard.

A wide range of new features

New features include:

  • More support for deploying federations in real-life, unreliable environments
  • More support for mixing simulations from different domains
  • More support for large and scalable federations
  • More net-centric and Web Services support
  • More support for the latest development and deployment technologies
